ART PRESENTATION EVENING with Bill Gannon – Thurs 16th October 2014

 

Artist, historian, adventurer Bill Gannon will share his past and current projects including the retracing of Matthew Flinders and Ludwig Leichhardt’s travels and more recently, the retracing of John McDouall Stuart’s diaries and trails.

Bill’s journeys have resulted in many sketches and paintings including exhibitions in major art centres. Bill has completed many black & white and oil commissions. He is currently working on public art projects. Works have been requested for historic and biographic books and websites.
LOCATION: The Art Shed, Crispe Street, Alice Springs.
WHEN: Thursday, October 16th at 7:00PM
WHY:
We aim to provide regular art talks, presentations by visiting persons of interest to our members and the public.
AUDIENCE: CAAS members and public all welcome.
ENTRY COST: $12 total to support Bill’s ongoing travel costs inc. $2 to CAAS.
