Conditions of Entry
1. Current and former members of the Central Australian Art Society Inc (CAAS) are eligible to enter.
2. Artwork must be the original work of the entrant, completed during the 12 months preceding the exhibition and not previously exhibited in Central Australia. Work in any medium is welcome.
3. There is a limit of one entry per person, and must not exceed 200cm in width, unless previously arranged with the coordinators.
4. Sculpture exceeding 200cm in any dimension will be considered on an individual basis. They may be displayed outdoors in the Art Shed’s courtyard or car park. Such works remain the sole responsibility of the entrant, no responsibility will be assumed by CAAS. A request for such work must be forwarded to CAAS in a timely manner.
5. CAAS reserves the right to consider, but not necessarily exhibit all submissions. Entrants with work that has not been accepted will be notified prior to the opening of the exhibition.
6. CAAS will exercise reasonable care but will not be responsible for the loss or damage to any work in its custody.
7. Entrants shall allow their artwork to be reproduced for the purpose of publicising the exhibition.
8. Insurance of artworks is the responsibility of each exhibitor.

Entries will close on Monday the 7 September 2020.

Fees:
1. A $20 entry fee must be paid by bank transfer (BSB: 065900; Acct No. 10057409) prior to the closure of entries.
2. A full refund will be given for any entry that is not accepted for hanging/display.
3. It is expected that all works will be for sale and at a price that reflects a demonstrable market value.
4. A commission will be retained by the Art Society for artworks sold, (20% for CAAS members and 30% for former members).
5. GST registered artists must include GST in the stated sale price.
6. Entrants must quote their ABN or be prepared to sign an exemption statement if work is sold. The ABN or exemption statement must be supplied before sale funds are distributed.

Delivery of artworks:
1. Entries must be delivered to The Art Shed between 10am and 4pm on either Monday 14 or Tuesday 15 September 2020.
2.Entrants are responsible for all costs incurred in the delivery or dispatch of artworks.
3. Artwork delivered must be clearly labelled with the artist’s name and accompanied by an artist’s statement.
4. Works must be received ready for hanging with D hooks no more than 10cm from the top corners of the work.
5. Where necessary, specific hanging or exhibiting instructions should accompany the artwork.

Collection of Works:
 • Unsold works should be collected from The Art Shed during the week after the exhibition closes.
