A new exhibition by
In conjunction with the Spring Flower Show at

Opening: Saturday 15th September
Time: 10:00 am
All new paintings presented in themes with a variation on each theme.
New techniques including texture in watercolour and ‘soil’ and ‘ash’ on canvas which you are invited to feel.
The book, ‘Summary of Small Things’ is available which includes the painting process for several of the works.
Remember to all join us at Araluen Arts Centre for this year’s Advocate Art Award Opening from 6PM this Friday 27th July.
Artists and family welcome to join the committee afterwards for a celebratory dinner. Details on the night.
Please advise (phone/text) Francoise on 0438 139 949 if you wish to join us for dinner. You may decide on the night, but it would assist the restaurant to have an idea of numbers for catering. Thanks.

Members and friends are cordially invited to join us this Sunday 20th May @3PM to elect the society’s steering committee for the next 12 months. People are needed to run the society, our physical assets from month to month and to organise and run our major annual exhibition the Advocate Art Award. Please consider joining us Sunday at 3 for a brief meeting and a social get-together. Memberships which fall due July 1 can be renewed at the meeting or online by following the ‘Membership’ TAB .

Tobias Richardson our current Artist-in-Residence has been based at the CAAS Art Shed the past month making a new body of work.
Join us for morning tea this Saturday from 10.30am for an artist’s talk and exhibition preview.For those that can’t make it this weekend or would like to engage further, Tobias will host an Open Studio on Tuesday and Wednesday next week between 10am and 4pm. See you there!
